Our guest speaker is Kat Brady.  She works with prisoners and will talk about the new State prison referred to as OCCC.  She will discuss the bringing of men home from mainland prisons, and general conditions of the prisons now.  Ms. Brady has worked extensively lobbying for prisoner’s rights and this past session, was successful in bringing about Act 194, which gives prisoners the right to go to Court to challenge the recalculation of their sentence.  This is a very important Act, as so many men have been negatively affected by the recalculations.
