District 50 Lions:
It is once again time to start thinking about next year’s Great Aloha Run (T-Shirt Distribution). The task at hand is to distribute T-Shirts to all the Great Aloha Run finishers in a timely and organized manner; according to KHON2 Newsi there were over 20,000 participants at last year’s run. Many of you have enjoyed helping with this in the past and we look forward to working with you again for the upcoming run as well as working with any newcomers.
Below is thee available information at this time. There will be more details in the coming weeks.
A complimentary breakfast and variable refreshments will be provided to those who are able and willing to participate.

What: Great Aloha Run (T-Shirt Distribution)
Where: Aloha Stadium
When: February 15th 2015
Time: 5 A.M. – 10:30 A.M.
It is ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY this year to CONTACT ME DIRECTLY to let me know you are planning on supporting this event and what task you will be assisting with. Below is a breakdown of the number requirements I have for different tasks this year.
15 physically fit Lions to assist in unloading the truck; must be capable of lifting 40lbs and walking at least 20 feet with it. We will be unloading two U-Haul trucks full of boxes this year. Must be willing to start unloading at 3:30 A.M.
5 Lions to oversee the LEOs that will be distributing the T-Shirts and directing the runners
15 Lions to temporarily swap places with LEOs who are directing traffic and distributing T-Shirts to ensure the LEOs have ample opportunity to take any necessary restroom breaks or to grab any needed refreshments
1 Lion to act as the Safety Officer, the safety of the LEOs and Lions are always our #1 priority
10 Physically fit Lions to participate in the cleanup after the event is pau, this task is mainly moving and organizing folding table
