“We were also able to give $1,000 to Tung Tran of Damien Memorial School’s Leo Club which PDG Bernard Ho himself presented as the advisor from our club. This took place on Tuesday,May 14, 2013. We did a lot of work with the Damien Leos this year and they
may be our future. It was a good beginning. Besides leading the Damien Leo Club, Tung is an honor student and will be pursuing a nursing degree at Chaminade University in Honolulu this fall. Tung said he will make himself available to help with the Lions Club of Honolulu members in the community service projects when he is not hitting the books. The members of the Lions Club of Honolulu extend their best wishes to Tung as he begins his journeyat Chaminade University.”
