Partnership with Special Olympics

In our September 2015 general meeting, we had the pleasure of listening to our special guest, Rexie Adlawan. Rexie is a Development Coordinator with Special Olympics Hawaii. She shared with us the many events they sponsor each year and the services they provide their athletes.  Lions Club International has been a supporter of Special Olympics since 2001, and I hope we may support that partnership by helping our local Special Olympics chapter.

At our recent International Lions convention in Honolulu in July 2015, a Bocce Tournament was held with the support of our local Leos.  Here is a glimpse of the event!!
